Stone Soup & Thanksgiving Class Presentation

Liam's PreK class served stone soup and talked about what they are thankful for... Liam is thankful for Miss Bev (one of his teachers) clothes and work.

We voted!

Liam and Nolan got to vote yesterday, well they took Mommy & Daddy's ballots and put them in the collection box. Liam wanted to know why they didn't get to vote. Good question son, since the choices we are making will eventually effect the world you live in as an adult. Made me stop to think about the first Presidential election I can remember, John Anderson running for President in 1980. My aunt was a very strong supporter and worked on his campaign. She has always been an inspiration for me and I was a strong 6 year old supporter for Anderson too. Would I vote for him today? I went back and looked at his campaign materials, the web is a wonderful thing...interesting to look back in time - we aren't much different than 1980.. http://www.4president.org/brochures/andersonlucey1980brochure.htm

I wonder if Liam will remember this election when he is in his 30s and what he will think of in hindsight.
